Receiver có thể được sử dụng trên nhiều PC, máy Mac, MTXT, điện thoại thông minh và máy tính bảng.

Công nghệ làm cho việc ảo hóa desktop của Citrix hoạt động là HDX (High-Definition User Experience). HDX cũng đã được cải thiện trong phiên bản XenDesktop 5. XenDesktop cũng bao gồm XenApp, được sử dụng để cung cấp các ứng dụng ảo cho desktop.
